Our Cows

We have a pasture raised cattle herd that is supplemented grain for the ideal mixture of flavor and marbling.

It is extremely important to us that our cows are in natural environment – out on lush pasture with their friends. It is our number one priority to be good stewards of not only the land, but our cattle as well. We try to embody the proverb that challenges us to treat the earth well.  It was not given to us by our parents, but is on loan to us by our children.

Our beef is antibiotic and hormone free to make a high quality, all natural product for the betterment of our herd, our family, and our customers.

We meticulously study the genetics of our herd. We are by no means a pure-bred herd. We strive to incorporate desired characteristics and traits from multiple breeds and bloodlines of cattle. This process is called cross-breeding.  With the ability to map our genetics, we believe that this helps us to bring out the best qualities from different breeds.
